Been back full steam on this project again past couple of months, hoping to have it out on track in May.

Thought it was time for an update. I've ended up having to go through the whole car as I kept finding stuff that was poorly done and / or dangerous, and a bunch of tired worn out bits as well. So a lot of refurbing and refreshing along with some upgrades and tweaks.

1. Flywheel lightened+ new clutch assembly
2. Upgraded torque tube and transaxle from the 924 one's to 944 one's
3. Refurbed and rebuilt rear suspension. Powerflex Black series bushes, solid alloy body mounts, new spring plates and bushes, increased torsion bar from 23mm to 24mm, added a 16mm rear ARB. New Koni Sport adjustable dampers
4. Refurbed and partial rebuild of front suspension. Powerflex Black series bushes.
5. Relocated battery and installed sealed battery box
6. made a lightweight clutch foot rest
7. Rerouted and made up new brake lines

Here's a few pics.....

I wish. But sadly it will be just a track-day toy and weekend car - at least for thus year, if I actually finish it.

I don't know anyone that's ever finished their race car...

That i have no doubt is very true...by finish I actually mean safe, back on it's wheels, MOT'd and useable.

Made some more progress this week, got all the prep done for installing the roll cage properly, and made up all the support plates. Hopefully I will have it welded and bolted in in the next couple of days. That will be one big and significant job ticked off the list.

Been keeping busy with this. All the cage support plates are now welded in and had a successful cage test fit (minor fettling left to do). Also got my drivers seat mounting points done as well.
