Tell me about it Laughing

Thereís another fabia that was put together by the same guy that did mine in for mapping tomorrow. Both similar set ups but his has a smaller turbo (49mm wheel compared to 52mm wheel on mine) and a performance exhaust so interesting to see what that makes as my turbo is already at 2 bar.

If he gets more Iím tempted just to tell them to fit a GTD1752VRK 😂

Only a standard backbox. From the Turbo to the backbox its a 2.5 inch Darkside Straight through.

Current turbo on it is a GTC1552VZ. The GTD1752VRK is the latest gen version (D instead of C,better vane set up) with a 2mm larger inlet wheel.

Don't worry im not in the game of chasing numbers on this one just need someone driveable but nippy.

The company also mapped a yeti which had a GTC1549VZ same turbo i have but a 49mm wheel instead of 52mm that i have.

On the yeti that made peak torque of 330ft lbs at 2500 but im only 300 ft lbs at 3000 so thats another thing to work on.

Standard air box too. Are they a good design standard or could that be something to change?

Have you removed your dpf and egr? Might get caught out with the new rules about dpf.

Anti Roll bars and short shifter fitted today and Cars back on the dyno tomorrow for more mapping.

Did call darkside to buy a GTD1752VRK but it wonít fit in the fabia not enough clearance hence why theyíve only did it in a golf.

Good luck in getting that past a legitimate MOT or roadside smoke test.

It limits the revs to 2500 when itís at idle so no smoke only smokes under full throttle under boost.

Write up from the Tuning company

Had the car a week now.

ADE have really have hit it out the park with this. Car is so much easy to drive compared to standard and stage 1. More so on the motorway cruising at 70mph and you go to overtake with the 340ft lbs it just takes off and builds up so effortlessly. 90ish now feels like 60 and also strangely enough fuel economy has got better, Used to get 46-48mpg on the way to work now i get 54-56mpg.

Built by Richard Hutchinson from Modified Lights UK who was the one who put this idea in my head then put it into action.

First time out will be at Crail on sunday hopefully will get some good competitive times.

Finally got its war paint on.
