Found this page while looking up corner speeds, getting competitive and only had a lap timer for 3 days
My speeds from the pit straight vmax to the hairpin...
98 - 75 - 45 - 67 - 73 - 98 - 28.
These are all from my PB of 1.02.59, virtual best of 100.16 explains why some of the corners are slower....I think! |
interesting, my best lap in the E46 M3 was a 62.7 dead. i have just sold it for a 111s elise which should be around the same, so you are achieving that, whats the car setup if you dont mind me asking?! _________________ _________________

NA VX220 with 150ish BHP running AD08r tyres and DS2500 pads. Not sure what the geo was as I changed the front wheels from 17" to 16" as they are supposed to improve handing (Elise comes with 16" fronts standard) also removed some camber shims the night before but have since found out the NSF was running less camber than the OSF, so basically the geo needs done lol. Car was felling slightly nervous probably not helped by the split NSR CV being spilt spraying grease everywhere
Now I have the excuses out the way I think it may be possible to get a sub minute lap....maybe!
Any mods to your Elise? S1 or S2? I used to have a S1 135 Sport, great little car _________________ VX220 (Road/Track Spec)

S2 111S, but parallel conversation we are having on the projects thread. But will note my times in two weeks time, will be slower for sure, first timeout! _________________ _________________

9mph more than me at clarks! that's good going if your on road tyres, could be lots of reasons, it's easier to take a corner faster when you arrive at it slower, the car, how many wheels are driven, a dodgy gps signal, maybe you took your speed at entry, I took my slowest speed from the corner. |

quick update from a couple of my more recent outings in an Impreza.
Slicks were on White Car, 888 on Blue. Blue handles, stops, and goes better
