Anyone know of handy cans or spray kits of the above foam (unsure of grades etc)? _________________ Impreza Race Car, 1200kg, 480bhp - SLS/SMRC

Beware that some of these foams can release very toxic (and flammable) fumes in a fire _________________ Renny

Looking for something light and strong/rigid. Shouldnt hold/absorb water either
Would prefer a spray application, but could easy mix/pour like a foam seat kit i suppose _________________ Impreza Race Car, 1200kg, 480bhp - SLS/SMRC

If you do go for a 2-part polyurethane foam, this is a much cheaper way of buying than as a seat kit (exactly the same stuff, BTW)
https://www.allscotltd.co.uk/polyurethane-foam/polyurethane-liquid-foam
If you really need it to be sprayable, you could easily rig up a big version of a brake-bleed kit (5l plastic paint tub with lid, couple of barb fittings in the lid, hosepipe, you get the idea) and run it off an airline. You'd need to work fast (3-5 mins from mixing to starting to go off at current ambient temps), and the application kit will be 1-use (everything the foam touches is basically ruined!) _________________ Strong Broo Racing |
