E46 M3 Manual, If you could get a genuine white one as they seem to be the rarest colour.

Lancer evo RS variant will climb also as so hard to come bye.

RX7's are a shout, any air cooler porker will be worth more id think

E36 M3 ? they havnt started to climb silly yet but its only a matter of time for them! E46 CSL would of been a good buy 5-8 years ago!

Right now the bargain has to be E60 M5
Get an LCI with low miles and Individual paint and lock that away.

E61 even better but these have already started to climb.

There will never be another production car available to the working class with an engine like that.

Toughy, I echo those comments. I'm running an E63 M6 as my daily and it's immense. I take it on our annual west coast trip too and it's not remotely out pf place among the more exotic metal/carbon that some friends have.

E60 M5 - some nice cars ~13-15k 500bhp V10 etc etc but still not sold on its big barge looks.

E46 M3 - ~16k..... no imolas just now

Impreza Type R - seem to have kept values from a year ago, ~12k

996 TT - ~35-55k - would need to be guards red with black though Laughing

968 CS - ~25k

Corrado - VR6 ~5k, G60 ~9k

RX7 - ~19k

R32 GTR - ~30k

Supra (mk4) - ~20k

Was originally going to say something like a Peugeot 205 / 309, but maybe missed the boat on those as they've already rocketed. Maybe not much growth left in those now.

Nice clean, rot-free 106 GTi's and Rallye's are probaby a fairly sound investment - or maybe even something like a 306 GTI-6 or Rallye.

I'm sure last I noticed, EP3 Civics had pretty much bottomed out and started to go back up in price again as well. And sticking on that theme, i woulda thought maybe an S2000 probably holds a bit of potential as well.

Mk1 Focus RS and E46 still seem pretty good bets though.

Chuck in an extra 5k and I'll let you have the E61 Wink Wink Room for kids, dogs, bikes AND you can even buy an OEM fitment tow bar from the stealers Laughing

There's a really nice black E46 on FB at the minute for sale over in Jersey for good money.
