The Odyssey Extreme PC545 in the pink Mini decided to give up the ghost at the weekend. Not sure on its installation date, but think its prob 3.5/4 years old so not too bad.
It'll have seen a bit of drain on my car due to its setup (fan constant etc).
Its a 5.2kg, 13Ah, 150 CCA battery, so equiv to my preffered Red Top 15 I think
Any alternatives to try?
I ran a LiIon battery in the Impreza but it died sitting doing nothing after selling the Impreza. Worth a punt again? Mini weight isnt so critical as I need ballast anyway

That list is for MUK approved Li-iON.
The Odyssey I had was not Li-iON. _________________ Integra Type R DC2 - My Choob |

PS-09 arrived today, and fitted.
Decent service and price from Allan at A&G Motorcycles.
I've had the Odysey on conditioner for a few days now, and it actually seems to be behaving itself....
The older smaller Li-ION battery that I bought for Impreza actually seems to be OK now too.... perhaps just not strong enough to crank it over. 13v reading _________________ Impreza Race Car, 1200kg, 480bhp - SLS/SMRC

The Motorsport UK Regs require any non-lead acid batteries to be 'approved' unless OE Standard Part. _________________ Renny
