seen a few of these on PH... so a blatant copy.

If you had 100k to spend on a minimum of 3 cars (can have more)... What would you go for? Can be new/second hand/classic - whatever

a lot of the cars I'd want are >100k so quite a tough one to find 3 or more to fit the bill :S

1: Porsche 996 TT - manual, coupe - £45000 (55k remaining)

Would need to be Guards red with black interior. X50 etc would be nice but not essential. Wanted one for a while, and came near to pulling the trigger about 2 years back - thankfully decided against it as prices look to have stabilised a bit since. Great all round usable 'super car' - Mezger engine etc etc. GT2 kit and some BBS wheels would of course be needed too Laughing

2: Porsche Cayenne S (V8 TD) - Auto/Tip in Black or White with black interior, tow pack etc. £35000 (20k remaining)

Tough decision Laughing A 2018 40D X5 would be ~40k to a 2015 Cayenne V8 S Diesel's 35k, Gone for the Porsche just to mix things up... but both very capable tow beasts!

3: E46 M3 - SMG, red, black or grey - £14000 (6k remaining)

Always wanted one, and seems a decent car for the money Very Happy Not too fixed on SMG over manual, but believe the SMG is a decent box far removed from a typical semi-auto from that era.

4: Mini Cooper R53 race car - self built for £6000 - all budget gone

For the money you cant really argue against it. Great handling and enough power to keep up with most things on straights. Self built its doable for 6k too, as long as not going daft with re-sprays and gucci bits.

Haha! Having to pick 3 does chuck a spanner in the works, so much so iv managed to pick 4! Buuuuuut i see 3 of them as investments so if we do this next year il have 120k to play with Laughing

1. This has to be up there with the super car deal currently going! I feel only the V8's are currently a better gamble to make money!
09' V10 R8 - £38,950

2. I Don't know why these didn't take off? On paper, they seem like such a good thing and Jeremy Clarkson said you have to at least own 1 Alfa in your life!
14' Alfa Romeo 4C - £37,990

3. This was the 3rd money maker but i feel it will be a slow and long time before they do, Rare sight on the roads even in Japan, Not the fancey Mugen edition but still a cool car!
07' FD Civic Type R - £11,995

4. This is the mile muncher, Chris Harris said do you need anything more than a 320d.... and he is right, for day to day things these do it all.
15' 320d - £9,995

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/202004259058531?make=BMW&model=3%20SERIES&price-to=10000&maximum-mileage=80000&sort=price-desc&transmission=Automatic&advertising-location=at_cars&onesearchad=New&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=Used&aggregatedTrim=320d&postcode=ab124tn&radius=1500&year-from=2015&page=1

Leaves me with just over £1000, should cover the Alfa's first break down Laughing
