This is what I don't get either. It is really starting to annoy me. I will try tightening up the topmount nut as apparently that can work it's way loose and that can cause a knock when turning. If that fails then I will
raise them a bit more, and if that fails then I will just drive it till it breaks Laughing

Update: Knocking has now disapeared. A 4 hour session at Knockhill on saturday seems to have cured the problem. Bonus Laughing

Just another update. Knocking came back after a few days and had been getting worse. It was knocking/clicking all the time, not just when turning.

I changed hub assemblies today and the knocking/clicking has disapeared, for now, so I am assuming that it was the wheel bearing. That is the only thing I can possibily think it was.

The above was a bit premature. Clicking has not disapeared. I have absolutley no idea what the f*ck it can be now. It is definetly something to do with turning left and the wheel rotating.

Could it have anything to do with hubcentric spacers?

Anybody have any bright idea's?

it doesnt do it when on stands?
can you feel it through the steering wheel?
can you feel it on the brake pedal, or does it go when brakes are pressed?

Nope, can't get it to do it unless its moving on the road. Can't feel anything through the wheel or brakes. There is no play in any of the suspension components. I have made sure that the dust sheild isn't catching anything. The ARB and droplinks are clear of the bottom arm.

The only thing I haven't been able to check is clearances of all components when the car is on the road, I ideally need to get the car up on ramps and check it out. That will be the next port of call.

It wouldn't be steering rack related if there was no feel through the steering wheel? The noise is certainly coming from the wheel arch area.

Brake lines rubbing?
Wheel rubbing on coil body?
Wheel arch liner loose and moving at speed to rub on tyre?

Wheel arch liner is a good call, especially with it being so low and your tyres being so wide.
