New to the forum so I hope folks don't mind me jumping in asking for help.
Looking for help with GPS data from around knockhill track.
In the process of creating a mod for assetto corsa racing simulator and looking for GPS points from all round the track. Looking to make it as accurate in every way I can.
The more data I can get the more realistic it will be.
Would be grateful if anybody could help. |

Other than physically going to the track? Maybe have a look at race logic's track library. They have tracks saved... or I can provide a sample of a logged file BUT it won't have edges.... just the lines I took _________________ Impreza Race Car, 1200kg, 480bhp - SLS/SMRC

Live half an hour from Knockhill.
Wonder if they would let me walk the track to get accurate mapping. Not sure what there position would be on making a sim of the circuit.
At the end of the day a race line may be good enough. |

I cant see any reason why they would object . plenty of circuits are in games.

It is not accurate enough. One of the other problems is getting elevation data above sea level.
Already have the track made but when you compare to the real track in side by side video, it is way out. |

Does this help you for elevation at all?
