I've got a clip of you passing me down the main straight and me saying "That thing cannot be standard!" Laughing

And yes, its bloody loud, gave me a fright the first time it did it to me!

Lol it was built by Gary muir rally car builder
It had the head sent to cat cams where they done all the head work along with a set dyno cams which were a 1 off set
R6 throttle bodies emerald ecu lightend flywheel Full carbon roof
I'm going to get the Rev limiter raised and a live map so should be quicker soon
goes pretty well for a 1.6 I was shocked when I got a shot of it. I bought it just as a cheap track car for when I'm home. But it has shocked a few cars
My mate has the very same car colour engine there like twins.

Yip that's the 106 I never realised it was that loud dosent sound that loud when ure in it ha ha it's going in for a live map from russ soon hopefully get more bhp ment to be around 170 the now goes ok now to see how much more weight I can get rid of it got weighed on sat and was 820kgs with a full cage fitted so poly windows to fit when I get back from offshore and loads of fibre glass soon.

What times are you getting in the dry ? I was only running 142bhp with the car weighing in at 860kg and could get 65's and 66's constantly in the dry.

Sounds like a great spec. are they phase 3 cat cams in it?

Not sure on times never checkt that's only my 2nd track day and never been totally dry yet lol
The cams were 708 Evo 2 which were a set of dyno cams and are a 1 off so I have been told by the guy that built the engine am going to try get 180ish bhp and down to 700kgs that's the plan was looking at buying a another track car but the 106 is cheap and cheerful

700kg wow ! That's a drop of 250kg or there abouts?

You wont need anything else, you'll be having to much fun beating all the big boys Razz

I'll come over and say hi next time. I used to run the 106 owners club.

I'm going to try and get to 700kg but after the fibre glass panels there's not much more to be removed as there's nothing in it even full wiring loom is the bare minimum time will tell tho reckon with the windows fitted should be around 790kg the now rufly.

Adam/Fee I have tried to donate some more money to the page but I keep getting an error. Is it because it's reached over 100%?
