I have a really crap connection so cant do too much research :/

i'm looking for info on the materials/composites below..

namely

Density
Elastic (Young's, Tensile) Modulus
Shear Modulus)
Specific Heat Capacity
Strength to Weight Ratio


For

2mm Aluminium -
3mm DiBond alu composite -
10mm AluCore alu Composite -
7mm Balsa -
7mm Ply -
Kevlar fibre resin laminated Balsa (7mm) -
Flax fibre resin laminated Balsa (7mm) -

Anyone got a spare few mins to help out?

the expensive ones from ginetta are made from "buffalo board" whatever that is. Might be worth looking into that

I'm thinking of making some composite panels for a floor for fee's car, or mine.... whichever. Would make from a cheap wood first to test fitment though.

A nice sustainable flax reinforced balsa composite Very Happy

Anyway... some interesting stuff regarding flatfloors/difusers etc

I'd expect a drop in Cd of around 13% with a flat floor and 7deg difuser
2deg difuser would give more <less> Cd, but for one of our cars the extra downforce would be best Laughing
