Aye Aye...

turns out we have a sticky caliper on the front right of the X5. I'm looking to simply just replace it like for like, but cant find any bloody calipers to suit. I'm not going to a main stealer to pay 1k or whatever.

Any suggestions where to try, or even to get correct rebuild kit?

It seems a bit or a race set-up :S

365mm 2pot 42mm pistons

Still got AUC warranty? I got a new caliper, disks and pads under warranty when the car was on 81,000 miles.

GSF do an exchange for 144 with 36 cash back for old calipers http://www.gsfcarparts.com/parts/braking/brake-hydraulics/brake-caliper

Does BMW price include carrier? Might be cheaper if you use exiting carrier and just change caliper, I'm pretty sure they're separate items?

no parts..

Tried a few places and they have zero stock of the twin 42mm 365mm disc caliper.

Looking at a rebuild kit from Denmark just now... as other dont include pistons.

Indeed but still better than getting bummed for 500 from BMW.

You might need an airline to blow out the pistons...
