Could you use something like this to solve the drill/space problem?: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Right-angle-drill-chuck-adaptor-corded-cordless-drill-angle-attachment-aluminium-/201018306579?hash=item2ecd9ff013:m:maNZ0TRKKEFRZKMjgOMOqLA

OK - alternative idea (given that the filter looks nice and accessible) - hack up an old filter and replace the central perforated bit with a solid pipe connected to a long tube. Spin the pump as previously discussed and discharge that way.

That was just the first one on ebay I saw, but at that money I wouldn't have a problem with hacking it about to remove the traditional chuck and making up a plate that neatly fitted over the drive wheel.

Adam,

If you need to handle one to check it out then we sell them over at the Gibbs branch;

http://gibbtools.com/block.php?block_id=1444

Can't promise to beat any online pricing though so you may still be better to buy elsewhere.

All the right angle chucks seemed to be huge, surely someone can do a quality geared item that's compact?
