I live just outside Falkirk and attended my first track day at Knockhill yesterday (16/7/16). A lovely gent by the name of Alex took me under his wing and looked after me for the day, and suggested I join this forum, so here I am.
My cars:-
1. Mondeo 2.2 tdci aka "the Diesel Sleeper", my daily hack
2. Porsche 944 '86 Lux rolling resto project
3. Porsche 924 GT "8 ball", my track car project
Unfortunately neither of Porsche were fit for a track day yesterday, so I took the Mondeo, which I'm pleased to say surprised me and most of the pit lane as to how well it performed on track (many sniggers turned to admiration by the end of the session). Dont get me wrong here it is a modified car but I built it as a quick and fun road car that I use for commuting.
Pleased to join the community, sure I will be asking for help and advice with my track car project, and look forward to meeting some of you at the track. [/img] _________________ Porsche 924 GT8 track day car project

Welcome,
I spoke to you a couple times throughout the day, it was myself that had to drop out of the trackday opening a space for you.
I did wonder when you said you brought a mondeo but it certainly did open eyes and hold its own
Also, nice TTRS Alex |

The Mondeo often gets that reaction. Thanks for the spot, totally enjoyed myself. Was good to meet you, hopefully see you there with your car sometime. _________________ Porsche 924 GT8 track day car project
