What where & how Confused

Standard road car (Audi estate) with std seatbelts, no holes in seat for shoulder straps or mounting points except std.

What needs done as a minimum without doing a chopshop job to get them in & what ones are needed?

Ideally 10 mins to fit for trackday & same to remove after with minimal tools or visual impact when not in use.

If this is a how longs a piece of string Q just say Laughing

Cheers
Chris

The easy bit is which harness - a 4 point one will be fine for you.
But there are gotchas even there - if you get one fitted and then you roll the car, it's going to hold you upright and not let you duck sideways to avoid a caving-in roof.
That's the reason I don't have one yet - no roll cage.

For mounting points you should be able to use the existing lower two, which will entail removing your existing catches from the seats (they will most likely be bolted to the seat). The upper mount for a harness should be at the same height as your shoulder, which means a welded or bolted cross-brace across the rear passenger compartment. There will be mounting points under the back seat but those are a bit low and will tend to squeeze your spine downwards if you have a front-on crash, and aren't recommended.
And you need seats which can cope with the shoulder-straps, of course.

Honestly Chris, it's probably way easier just to drive safely and not crash Smile I understand where you're coming from tho.

And do I hear that you got yourself and RS6? Ooooooooo! (waggles fingers under chin, cheekily Very Happy)
