When you look at the 150 v a weekend ticket it's pretty good value.
Hope you get the numbers to make it work

thats whats gonna make a difference really, getting the numbers.

I'm pretty new to the track scotland community, and everyone seems to pull together and be pretty straight up with little to no bullshitting.....but for me this will be a massive leap of faith to put nearly 3k out of my own pocket only to find out everyone is pulling out in the end.

3k is a fair lay out but I'd be surprised if you struggle to find 20 willing buyers. I could get shot of at least 2 more if it came to making up numbers and I'm sure most other people could do the same if worse came to worse.

If you can get something concrete from AmD I'd be more than willing to pay up front. I've missed 2 btcc meetings in the last 15 years at knockhill and by the time you stuff your face with burgers and donuts, buy some terrible hat that you'll never wear, shell out a tenner for a programme you wont look at then have another bag of donuts and an ice cream your not a kick in the arse of 150 anyway. Its a bargain in my eyes Laughing

I appreciate the frustration of waiting on an email reponse, esp when we are gonna be paying them.

But it is gonna be a very busy fortnight with only 10 days until race day at Donnington. We do have time on our hands if we want to do it for Knockhill in August.

Not replied to a simple e-mail in 2 weeks?
Thats just rude, no excuse unless it wasn't received.

If your not big enough to cope you shouldn't offer such things.
Might explain why others who would reply charge more.

could always speak to shaun, phone number is on here http://www.amdessex.com/contact.cfm

e-mails do go awol but a phone call wont, both shaun and ben are really nice guys but the BTCC is a sideline, it is the tuning that pays the bills and ultimately the racing. Perhaps that is the good thing about being a marshal you get to see the good, bad and ugly and AMD are good guys

aboot time !

Quote:
sorry for the delay.

We could cater for up to 20 people and it would cost 100 per head plus
circuit entry. We would include a team T-shirt for each person.

This would include lunch in the team awning, photo in the car and meet/
greet with our driver, Ollie Jackson.

We are not one of the big plush teams but it does mean that you would feel
involved and a member of the team!

If you would like a sponsor logo on the car this would be 500 when run in
conjunction with hospitality.

Please let me know if you have any more questions.

Right guys. Bit the bullet and confirmed with AMD that I will take the hospitality at knockhill from them.

There are 20 places. The cost will be 100 per person plus the circuit entry fee. (this is to be confirmed and can just be payed on the day I guess) the date is for the 26th of august at knockhill.

To confirm your place I will need the 100 payed upfront . along with your contact details, address, name etc Payments can be made via paypal gift or a bank transfer. (PM me for payment info)

The places will be non refundable to avoid time wasters and also due to me paying everything upfront. So make sure if you say your coming that you can make it. You can sell your spot to someone else. Just let me know their details etc if this happens. Also until you pay the spot is still open. Just sticking your name on the list doesnt confirm you a spot. payment will though Very Happy

I'll start the list below. Just add your names and when payment comes through I'll mark the names off as payed/confirmed

1. kwalker705 (me) PAID
2. mrs kwalker705 (the missus)PAID
3. Sunny-cullen (Iain)
4. Mrs Sunny (Sarah)

How do we pay for this? Edit nevermind I have now read above post properly.

I'll take 2 one for me and one for my wife Lorraine (If she's not divorced me before August that is!).Smile

If there are any spare slots I could probably fill those too nearer the time.

Thanks for organising this.
