check the shoes... Smile

I normally give the trailer a good check every winter, but have to change bits and bobs outside that. Tyres, Jocky wheels and lights being the most replaced items.

Our jokey wheel gets bent everytime we lend someone the trailer Laughing Still works but needs a lot of force to move it/rotate etc

I use it and it's all fine. Leave it with you guys and they all get battered! It's not that hard!

andy check your brake cables as if the trailer isnt used much condensation gets in, rusts the cable to the outer sheath and the brakes dont come off. had that problem with my caravan last year as it was unused for 4 years, had the hitch damper replaced before the GP, van did the gp (just) then next time out the fecking brakes wouldnt release after the 1st application. said sod it and put on new cables, shoes and springs. thus all overhauled and ready for the next 18 years

yeh good point I actually started putting bricks in front of it rather than leaving the brake on exactly because of locking it up.
