Up Up Up....

26th October 2019 - 6hr relay - Silverstone GP

Timing isnt ideal if a 2019 ROR challenge is on, but could use different cars Smile

Handicap based 6hr relay race with following classes

A - SALLOON & SPORTS CARS (running List 1A/1B/1C tyres) up
    to 2000ccs.
B - SALLOON & SPORTS CARS (running List 1A/1B/1C tyres)
    over 2000ccs
C - SPORTS RACING CARS and Sports Cars/Saloons (on racing
tyres) up to 2000cc, all bike engined cars up to 1000cc
D - SPORTS RACING CARS and all Sports Cars/Saloons (on racing
tyres) cars 2000ccs & over and all bike engined cars over
    1000cc.

So if using some of the Sports n Saloons cars - likely class B or D
If using fleet of Minis (prob 3 by then) - class A

Each team gets a handicap, even within the class. So if we're racing a team of 1800cc Integras for exampe (in Minis) we'd get a few laps head start.

Min entry is 3 drivers, 2 cars. I'd ideally want 4 cars and 4 drivers.

Pros - Cons

Faster cars (Impreza, Supercopas etc) - Loads (Race time, wear n tear) split, owners look after their own - split responsibility/costs etc for tyres/parts. Fuel usage, Fuel capacity/duration = short stints. Prob be some of the quickest cars but zero handicap with that. Expensive if using slicks/wets, would a set of worn list b/c last 1.5hrs

Minis - Less wear n tear, lower costs (potentially), slow, fuel capacity prob matches 1.5hrs,

Show of hands if any interest?
