We have now confirmed our 2014 dates with Knockhill.

KNOCKHILL

Saturday 1st March: 12-4pm

Saturday 12th April: 6-8pm

Saturday 17th May: 6-8pm (REVERSE)

Saturday 19th July: 6-8pm (SLS weekend)

Wednesday 6th August: 6-8pm

Friday 12th September: 5-7pm (SMRC weekend)

Sat 1st November: 12-4pm

INGLISTON

Sunday 11th May: 10-4pm

We are also working with Ingliston to see if we can arrange another two dates with them. It's proving a bit difficult to find mutually suitable weekends, but we'll see what we can do.

Watch this space!

Aye, Kames is a good we sprint track, did an informal sprint with my XR2 there a few years ago and would like to get my Impreza round. What's Alford like?

Alford is basically a large figure of 8, but can be used in a few different combinations Smile

im game for 1st November, just spoke to knockhilland they can give me 2 hours driver training at 9.30 am before the event. do you think this would be too much for me in one day? 2 hour training and then 2 hour track time, lady on phone said id do the 2 hours training, get a rest and some lunch and then back out with trackscotland with all I have learnt fresh in my head?

it wont be 2hrs solid on track, it'll be on track for 10-15mins then in pit for discussion etc, then back out to try and work on whats been discussed. And repeat Smile

Perfect day for it.... just remember you dont need to get every last lap out of a trackday Wink make the laps count (try things on certain corners etc) rather than just lapping

thanks for the advise, think ill get it booked really keen to get some proper one on one training, only done one track day and although i was safe and let others past etc i felt a bit nervy at times, partly because it was my daily driver and i had a 6 hour drive home afterwards, haha

is the private training just training cars on the track, i,e when im out at 9.30 will it just be my car and other peoples cars who are also getting training? im not going to be pulling out the pits into a stream of race cars practising ?
