What I don't understand is how the other driver only got 6 points on his licence. That was about as blatant as you get pushing him off the track. He shouldn't be allowed on track again

from reading the random FB comments apparently thats the highest penalty that MSA can issue. I couldnt agree more on perma-ban or at least for a season or two. Another car, another type of impact may not have been so lucky.

That is some appalling driving from the 968. I agree that he shouldn't be allowed behind the wheel of a race car again for that move. Frighteningly blatant.

A guy we used to race against in the Legends got a ban from Knockhill for a similar move......took to the grass (all 4 wheels) at the start and wiped out 3 cars at the top of Duffus (I was 1 of them) and he was able to carry on.
A lot of drivers complained about him and due to other incident previously he was banned from Legends at Knockhill

In my eyes the guy in that Porsche should be banned aswel, very dirty move and extremely dangerous.

Exactly the same thing happened this year in the BMWs, or at least an attempt of... Just not the same horrific outcome.

I believe the driver in question was excluded from a round.

If I was that clio driver I would have smashed him clean in the face with my helmet when he got back to the pits.

Nobody think the clio nudging him mid corner in the rear was asking for trouble?

Almost a pit manouvre as the muricans say.

Don't think it's as malicious as the video makes out.
