for the first time ever, the little mx5 let me down - a shredded alternator belt caused a leaky radiator, cutting my day short after only a few laps:(

i had a spare belt to get me home but wasn't willing to risk dumping coolant on the track, it was slippery enough out there already.

Still, it was good fun while it lasted, thanks to Adam and Fee for organising another excellent trackday.

Had a great first track day. My (blue) Evo also broke down but nearer the end of the day.

Well had a really good first TS track day and car never missed a beat the whole day (yellow 106) just as the track was getting some good dry lines it was a monsoon but really good.
Thanks to all who organised the event.

I think I followed you a while, loud bangs on gear changes with personal reg? Cool and fast wee car.

I had a great time and car worked all day with no daft faults like I had last time. I hope I stayed out the way enough as I'm still not quite as fast in corners as the car is on straights.(old white audi 90)

Thanks to Adam, Fee and anyone else involved!

Very good track day. A few very fast cars out on track today/

Our Corrado held up well with zero issues mechanically, but serious investment needed into a shorter ratio gearbox. Looking forward to next time.

It sure does. I've always liked 106s. What's been done to it?

It's got the engine out of an audi s2. A 2.2 turbo 5 cylinder. Bit of an old boat anchor but good fun.

Sorry if I gave you a bit of a fright on the main straight (white TS impreza). I thought you moved over, so I went, then you stopped moving - but there was a gap, so kept going.

Was a bit tighter than I think we both would have liked Laughing

Had a great day while it lasted, so thanks to all for your patience.
Car was going well and surprised me how well it was going straight out the workshop. That was until the clutch gave up Sad Sad

Now got to try and find a supplier of a decent clutch plate.

Again thanks to TS for organising a great day and sorry if I held you up

Andy

Got a little fright, more because i didn't know where the hell you came from, there was nothing behind me as i was on the back straight or main straight Laughing

But yes - that was tight - i have some footage of it on the go pro i'll share a link for later once i've got them onto youtube.

Thanks again, top day Very Happy
