I've used them in dry, damp, wet & monsoon.

Fantastic in every condition but I was delighted at them in the wet & in the monsoon they were simply stunning.

Good to see another 106 Smile

The Yoko's, as said before, are a great tyre.

they will be fine... just work some heat into them (through brakes) and be mindfull of standing water (braking zone for clarks, hairpin)

I spoke to Yokohama about the A050 earlier in the year and at that stage it didn't look like they were going to be on the 1B list anytime soon.

I suspect the A050 and R888-R's will both be 1B approved at roughly the same time.

Shame, the Aussie's seem to rate the A050's as a much closer step towards slicks.

they did a test in Caterham race series I am looking to try not to crash in next March and plan for them is to bring it in 2016 season. Good to know on timing and when they did a small test in that series feedback was and to quote them:

I was one of the Graduate drivers who got to test the AO50s at Silverstone. They drive almost identically to the AO48s. Can't comment on wear or longevity from that test.

Good to see you're thinking about tyres for your first trackday. Most don't, they just wanna go fast.

Was it Cherrys Silver GTi?
