I just scanned pink bikes everyday, I had budgeted around £1200 for an endure bike postage is about £50 I think although the guy I bought the bike from shipped the bike for "free"
Full suspension is the way forward my first run down tappie tower felt like I was cruising down and went 6 seconds quicker.
My bike feels easier to climb as well and this time I went for 27.5" my bike weighs 14k
I love my bike _________________ YouTube Channel |

I still have no idea what's what but budgets now doubled to 1k so I'm paying more attention to what's being said on this.
I want to use the 2 tracks locally ( one is at Denny / carron dam if anyone's been? ) & it looks like you need a proper bike as guys were 10-15ft in the air :O _________________ There's nothing wrong with the car except that it's on fire.

Is a large frame size big enough for you Adam? I went for XL
I know the geometry / tube length etc but I feel comfier on my bike than I did my last (l > XL)
P.S the Giant looks like its been pimped up a bit _________________ YouTube Channel |

how much you wanting to spend really - the lefty is actually not a bad fork and is very stiff.
also don't get a 29er
for sizing, go try a couple of bikes then look at their geometry, reach and stack are the main inportant ones for fitting. you'll probably want a reach of around 460-480mm. overall reach can be adjusted with stem length so a large with a 60mm stem could have the same reach as an XL with a 30mm stem.
estimted top tube it only appropriate for sitting down, bikes with the same ETT can have different reach measurements because of different seat tube angles.
I recon that both the trance and remedy would feel to cramped for you
That felt above will have nasty geo, its pretty outdated TBH.

The 2 that caught my eye are
Trek Remedy 7
Canondale Habit 4
although the the front suspension of the Cannondale is freaking me out a bit
Will check ebay to see how much these are second hand. Maybe too new to be up for a bargain yet
Think i'd prefer 29s too, just going from the hardtails i've tried with bigger wheels. |

Took son no1 to Mabie to ride the red trail. Lewis is has no fitness or muscle strength so the 11mile ride knackered the wee runt out and he fell asleep on the way home. Wasn’t impressed with the signage at the start and promptly got lost ha ha ha. I’m unlikely to ride Mabie again. The downs are not worth the climbs and Lewis felt the same way. If you are local it would make for a good XC ride. Some of the features were good fun.

I eventually did go for an emtb Specialized Turbo Lego FSR comp and it’s the best purchase I ever made...
On a solo ride I leave it in turbo and bang a full days worth of ascending into 1 and 1/2 hours (2500-3000ft climbing) and in group rides I leave it in eco.
Took a while to get to grips with the extra weight but this weekend started smashing my PB’s down the hill

Hi all!
I’ve decided to hang up my downhilling SPD’s for good following my shoulder operation. For that reason I have some Dainese body armour and shin guards looking for a new home. If anyone’s interested get in touch. Oh I also have a couple of lovely old skool, with modern touches, Santa Cruz Bullitt’s. One in full DH spec and the other has a full set of gears for climbing too. _________________ Alfa Romeo GT Junior |
