It started wet....Then got dry!

Cracking day all in. The little Westy was a bit lairy woo haa in the wet initially but as the track dried it came in to its own.

Awesome looking 458 challenge car!

I had a good day with the 197 on track for the first time, wasnt sure how it would be with standard suspension etc... but it was really good, lots of grip.

The S2000 was pretty nuts, whats in that?

What happened with the BM at the end? Was in the tyres in a strange place, didnt look like too much damage though.

From what I understand the S2000 is running a Toyota 2JZ engine (MK IV Supra TT)... and had some changes to make it less 'drifty'

I had a great day apart from a couple of tank slappers and struggled for grip with lots of under steer.

The s2000 was running a 2jz lump I think, 800bhp someone said

I was following it big lock up into hairpin. Hopefully not a lot of damage it was going really well today

Thanks to Adam and Fee for today - was a fantastic day out!

My first time in the wet on track today, so it was a steep learning curve and figuring out pretty early that I had my damper settings far far too hard.

I learnt a ton, especially being able to experience drying conditions in addition to a wet track on AD08Rs.

Hope everyone made it back in one piece and those with damage / mechanical issues can get them fixed promptly or just use them as an excuse to upgrade Wink

Line lock for rear brakes has been left on...or something like that!
Into the hairpin, no brakes so Duncan pulled on the handbrake to stop it going head on into the tyre wall full pelt.
Luckily he's ok and the damage to the car looks minimal.

He had his Hans on too....take heed people!!!!

I think it was more just the wet track, I got round a lot of laps with no issues, heaps of gopro footage! Got a list of little jobs to do now it's off the road for winter

aye... but if you dont have much composure (in dampning) or give in springs it will be slidey in the wet Smile I cant remember what susp you have, but did you soften them off, or remove front ARB?
