This might sound like a silly question....

I will only be using my clio for track use - Would I just stick with a medium compound tyre as a good all round Knockhill tyre? Where is the best priced place to buy

I'm considering

888's
ns-2r
ao48-r

As always it's all about the budget with me - I'm never going to be the stig so it's about the best overall value for money v's performance.

I'm open to suggestion. - I was running a used set of Yoko's last week.

what size of wheels are you running? If running 15's then your best value for trackdays would be to get some part used a048 medium compound from the mini cooper cup cars. Speak to Ronnie at wheels around as he usually has a few sets with usable tread sitting about that you should get a set for around 90-100

That's all I used for racing last year & can't say they held me back.
They will last alot longer on a Clio too

I got a used set off Gerry at PT on 15's and that if they are cheap enough I think that could well be my plan going forward
