A little different from my last ibiza, some of you may have seen this in wallace performance where its been a resident of for the last year nearly!

The story on this car is my friend richys and i know the history of the car for years including seeing it be written off twice in person and witnessing it Laughing , however.. after him leaving his job etc, he broke the car up for spares, which i bought the shell - throughout him building this ive given him a hand when he wanted it, sometimes spending a few late nights in the bodyshop helping out Laughing

Ive always loved this car, me personally... i wanted to paint it purple, but im just gona use it the way it is right now in race blue.

So far im still building the engine together in my garage, he was running a GT28 setup, im not looking to do that atall, but anyways, the spec im going to run is;

Engine;

1.8T 20v Turbo
Hybrid K04 turbo from beach buggy turbo's
Catcams turbo profile (runs lumpy)
Piper cam pulleys
Integrated engineering crank pulley
Integrated engineering forged conrods
Calico coated bearings
Relentless V4 k04 high-flow manifold
Custom downpipe
Piper exhaust system

Emerald ECU K6.

Hoping to see atleast 320-330 ponies with this engine, the cams make it really lumpy - sounds great.

Unfortunetly im trying to get my girlfriend in on this one, so her name is on the car, so i stuck a novice sticker on the back Laughing she is not a confident driver atall after being in a car crash last year! but im hoping she will take the plunge and take the wheel and not let her anxiety and emotions get the better of her.

i want the wheels yellow and the rollcage

It was running a k04 years ago with around 290 bhp - and it fairly shifted! so id be happy running anything over that or close to it

I would buy a diff but i really have blown my budget allready, 5.5k allready ive plumbed into it! just waiting on some parts to arrive.

My DC5 had a diff and i loved it, so i will end up putting on in this, when budget allows Smile

This looks really schweeeet!! Very Happy

Got a real soft spot for this model after having the Cupra TD163 new as a commuter about 10 years ago. After a wee remap from Star that thing shifted so yours will be really rapid...looking forward to seeing your progress Thumbs Up

Thanks Smile yeah - the diesel engines in them are great out the box!

Im hoping to see around 330 ponies once im done building this, so it will be a monster (it was running 300 about 2 years ago and that was just nuts at that power! difference is im using uprated cams and a standalone ECU and a hybrid turbo and a high flow manifold (so fingers crossed) that once its in the powerband there wont be too much power tailing off atall >Very Happy

Mocked my turbo up earlier, still need to replace one of the manifold studs and fit my oil and water lines completely, then it should be ok to go straight back into the car once ive finished changing my CV joints (one of my driveshafts is absolutly seized in my hub)

Ugh. Someone broke into my garage last night, just found out.

All my tools have gone and a few stihl equipment.

Great, cars undamaged though by looks of it.

Yeah - its not so good, first time I've had it done to me! But,I've moved everything to my garage in stoneywood now

Spent the whole day fixing the door, and I'm away to reweld the pin that goes through the ground (as they couldn't penetrate my lock so they cut the pin that stops the door coming out)

Any idea why they would take a lambda sensor out my garage and close my garage door, then put the lambda sensor over the handle to open it? That's how I found the garage this morning, my first reaction was "did I accidently leave that outside?!"

Probably as a mark to check if you have been to the garage, and come back to see if it's still there and take everything else
