Why? It's based on the same platform, subframes will be a bolt in swap, you could to the same with a golf or tiguan.

just look at it.....

high sided, high susp - I can just imagine it rolling around a lot. I'm always led to believe these TT/Golf Haldex platforms arent great handlers either (understeery)

I'd loved to be proved wrong though.

Oh they are indeed, but then so is the TT the bits came from Razz

I'm sure it wont be as good as a TT, but at the same time I'm sure it'll be considerably better than the yeti was to start with, or a good number of more 'normal' cars on the road, certainly not a widowmaker by any means and tbh, there's only so much handling that's useful on the road.

They are, but with a haldex controller you can change how much power is split to the rears (up to about 50% I think), apparently makes them so much better.

Well, apparantly 510bhp wasn't enough.

Quote:
Yeti engine done...

Iroz Motorsport Audi 5cyl 850 kit from the USA.
We are hoping to make around 720bhp on UK 98 RON pump fuel.
Claimed output is 850 on E85.

Forged engine, head work and cams to allow 8000rpm rev limit instead of 7000.
