So...first proper week.

I am pretty happy with progress so far. No booze and have resisted the temptation of after-dinner snacking (bedtime biscuits are always my biggest weakness). Was not helped by the fact that the guys from the German Christmas market (garage neighbours) gave me a massive 5kg box of giant chocolate kisses (which I've been frantically trying to give away!).

By coincidence, I've actually been fully veggie all this week too - declared an indian week, so have been on various dahls, chana masala etc. Never really considered cutting out meat before, but I must say I feel pretty good on it. It may very well incorporate aspects into my longer-term diet.

Not weighing myself yet, as I know the first week is always a bit of a disappointment, but visually, the belly is looking more trim, and my climbing session on Thursday was my best in quite a while (comfortably consolidating at the 6b+/6c level).

OK, scratch what I said before - I relented and weighed myself.

Somewhere between 2kg and 2.5kg down on 10 days ago. Woohoo! I'll take that Very Happy

Start weight: 89.5kg (6th Jan)
Current weight: 88.9kg
Cycled last week: 161 miles, 6,500ft elevation gained, 9hrs 2 mins.

I actually weigh myself everyday and take the average for the week, thatís for the structured programme but on here Iíll just put down what my weight is every Monday morning.

The more I exercise, the more I eat yummy

It's like a vicious cycle!

14,672 average steps last week

And got my bike set up on my turbo trainer too....took me so bloody long to get it set up, that the wee man woke up from his nap just as i was getting on it.
Might try to use it this week!

i ate more over xmas, did less exercise than ever, rarely get decent steps... still lost 2kg and sitting at 80.8kg :p

WTF...how did you do that????

I'm sure you're never more than me in any single day

Also...I do about double what is actually recorded. I get halfway up the stairs and then realise I've left my phone, so go back down to get it and go back up again!

End of Week 2 update

Start weight : 89.5kg (6th Jan)
Current weight : 87.3kg
Last week miles cycled : 141.7 miles, 6,562ft elevation gained, 8hr 6 mins active.

Last week was test week and my ftp is up 6w. Roll on this Saturday coming as thatís my ďoff dayĒ with regards to the diet.
