Thanks Adam, appreciate the info on Tyres, I’m not sure that the focus should be pleasing competitors from a different series tho ?

i think adam made point was based on majority rather than 1 series - unless mini is going to be more combined that rest which i doubt?

It makes the prospect of running SMRC cars without the added cost of new tyres and wheels. That could make numbers in the new G class look good - perfect for a bit of cheap fun in the Celtic Cup Minis.

Why it was felt necessary to change from wheel HP to flywheel/engine HP?

I think wheel BHP gave a discrepancy between 2wd to 4wd performance. Essentially the 4wd cars have better traction and the wheel BHP also compensates for the bigger losses too. It's felt that flywheel will reduce that advantage.

yup its one rule im happy about as i always felt it was an advantage for a 4wd car to run!
