Hi there
Thought id introduce myself, i started taking my Mk2 Escort to Knockhill last year, only managed 2 track-days, Ford Live and one in August.
I cant see me doing any competition stuff any time soon (3 young kids=skint, Lol) but ill do the odd track-day throughout the year when i can!
Hopefully i didn't hold anyone up on my past 2 track-days total novice! but slowly starting to build my confidence
The car is, at a guess, probably around 150 bhp (ish) so nothing too mental, but it sounds awesome and it puts a huge smile on my face.
The car was featured in Retroford in June last year (cover car) and won the best in show at the Scottish Car show at Ingliston in July so i think its quite a well known car
Ill be at Ford Live on 19th of May, but nothing else planned. i might come along to an open pit lane day but unsure as to which one ill make. If you see me come and say hello
I also have a Youtube channel, Youtube/Mk2Dave if you want to check it out
Cheers

Why not come and join us in the Retro class in SLS? Its a really well run, friendly series with a great bunch of competitors and your car would be perfect |

Ive heard of the SLS but dont really know anything about it! Plus i dont think i have the funds to become a worthy competitor. Definitely something id look into once the kids are a little older. |
