Has anyone seen this before with 888s

Raised bits. Was cleaning tyres after a hot track day and noticed them

Would you use it again?

I think that is pretty normal and is just the rubber at the edge being pushed into the groove, rather than worn off. Otherwise they look as though they have been working well, and at a good temperature too.

I’ve used 888s quite a bit in the past and never seen it

It’s like a hard part of the tyre carcas, was cleaning the tyres up with a heat gun and scraper and those bits were fixed
