No, I haven’t misspelt it and yes, we have possibly gone mad, but myself and Adam (the TrackScotland team) have decided to venture to the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro in February 2012.

And so TrekScotland is born!

Why? Well, partly because we are mad, but primarily to raise money for the Colin McRae Vision and Children's Hospice Association Scotland.

Our aim is to raise £1 for every meter climbed so a grant total of £5,895 (at least).

In the run up to the ‘main event’ we will be organising various fundraising events to help reach our target. These will include:

• Rolling Road day in conjunction with Wallace Performance.
• Track afternoon (and raffle) in conjunction with TrackScotland.
• Endurance Karting event in conjunction with Xtreme Karting.
• Kilts for Kili Charity Ball at Norwood Hall Hotel, Aberdeen.
