You can organise an SLS power run and corner weight package at a discounted price, to produce a certificate of output, at an SLS certified rolling road (venue to be confirmed). Organisers reserve the right to request a competitor to attend a SLS rolling road to certify a competitors car's power and weight ratio and /or move a competitor between classes if deemed required.

These classes can be accessed by having your car meet the MSA Sprint regulations (Section S of MSA Blue Book) for either of the following

  • Road-Going Series Production = Mass produced unmodified road car (S11)

  • Road-Going Specialist Production = Limited production unmodified road cars (S11)

  • Modified Series Production = Mass produced cars which have been modified within the provisions of S12. These cars must have MSA compliant roll cages and 4-point harnesses.

  • Modified Specialist Production = Limited produced cars which have been modified within the provisions of S12. These cars must have MSA compliant roll cages and 4-point harnesses.
  • Sports Libre = Any other car not complying with the above (S14)

TEAM TROPHY

Here is how the SLS Team Trophy will work:

1 - First of all a tuning company, car club or any group that wishes to take part must register a team name with SLS.
2 - The team will then choose their drivers for the season.
3 - Each team must have at least two drivers registered and a maximum of four to be eligible.
4 - Only the points from the top two drivers of each team will count per event.
5 - Teams who have over four entrants must then create a second squad under a different name with both teams scoring points for their own championship and effectively become rivals.
6 - Drivers can only drive under one team unless they are entered in two separate cars and cannot switch to a different team once the season has started.
7 - All six events count towards the team championship standings and no dropped scores are allowed.
8 - Enter your team name on the SLS Team Trophy Entry Form, followed by UP TO 4 team members.

If you would like to enter a team, please complete the form below and email it to rory@superlapscotland.co.uk. Once teams are set, they cannot be changed.

CAR REQUIREMENTS

EVENT FORMAT

In 2017 the whole SLS event will be run under MSA Permit including morning practice, so no track day rules will apply. Every car must be scrutineered prior to entering their first practice session of each event day. For qualifying the SLS grid will be split into groups of 15 cars (maximum) and take part in timed qualifying sessions approximately 15 minutes in duration. We hope this will take away the waiting in pit lane between runs and create more exciting viewing for our spectators. As per 2016, morning practice will consist of 2 x 15 minute sessions and the Super Lap Final will be sticking with its 1 flying lap format.

The circuit will be used in both clock wise and anti clockwise directions through out the season.
